Yesterday, Activision announced their earnings report for the last quarter. The publisher announced making $200 million profits on a $1 billion sales earnings. However, there was a hidden piece of video game news behind this announced is the possible hint of some new games dropped into the report.

Deep within the report there were some hints dropped that we could soon be seeing new Spiderman, James Bond and Tony Hawk games. Mike Griffth, the president of Activision, has confirmed the new Bond game, but has not yet done so for the other 2. Unfortunately, very little information has been announced about the game, just that it’s being made.

The last Bond game released was published by Activision, and it looks to be one of the best Bond games yet. That game got gamers playing through 2 different films, Casino Royale and the latest one, Quantum of Solace. That was had been developed by Treyarch, the guys behind the most recent Call of Duty game, possible why it got so many good video game ratings. However, nothing was said as to whether Treyarch would be making this new Bond game.

Nothing was also said about the storyline because currently there is now new bond film released. So basically the story could go in any direction, it could be based on an entirely new story, a story of a previous film, or possible be a prequel to a new film.

As for the other 2, there have been a number of hints at a new Spiderman film being announced, which no doubt would also get a game so that one is a possibility. Finally, the Tony Hawk game, I don’t think is happening because with Tony Hawk: Ride being released in November , I don’t think they would released another so quickly. However, you can never really tell, it’s just a waiting game now.
