OH SNAP VIDEO GAMES

Hello Friends, My name is Arny Roseval. I love videogames, they can’t love me back, at least not yet. Today I will just share a little with you on videogames in our lives. They have been there for quite some time but they haven’t just stayed the same the entire time. They have been constantly evolving. Moving on to the next big idea and sharing it with the world. We anticipate the release of a new console like nothing else. The new consoles always bring it and are leaps and bounds above what the former console was(Nintendo Wii mainly). I believe the ultimate goal of videogames is to simulate real life as much as possible.

They are inching closer and closer to achieving that mark. They are also becoming a little less expensive to own. We can all appreciate that. A genre that is very close to reality is the racing genre. The racing games that label themselves as simulation games are extremely accurate and detailed. You have to play these videogames with a wheel to fully appreciate them. They also serve as a tool to teach a new driver the track for the first time. When the driver steps out onto the racetrack he is visually prepared and is ready to go. That is just one example of the many games that are getting  similiar to reality. I see what they’ve done at E3. The ideas that engineers are coming up with. The possibilities are so great. I am glad to be a gamer.

Even in these tough times we all have something that unifies us. We get to transport our minds to another world where we are in control of it all and we can forget all of our troubles. I will say this however, videogames are not all there is to life. I know how this sounds, but I just had to say it. Get out there and get active. Play videogames, but also use your time wisely. The world is full of things that are waiting for you to experience. That’s all I wanted to say. Thank You for reading.
